A revolutionary system

The Roothus® pot is a revolutionary growth system for any type of plant, its characteristic internal shape promotes a unique radial root system.

Roothus® is an easy-to-use container that is ready to use, stackable and guarantees 100% non-spiralised roots.

Made of PE, it can have a circular or square shape, but unlike traditional pots, its walls have been studied and designed to prevent the spiralling of the root system, guiding each single root towards the opening channels, where the root finds a very ventilated environment and begins to dehydrate at the tip, triggering the lateral growth of other roots along that same root.

Air pruning

The end result of this self-pruning process, called “air pruning”, is a root system of exceptional importance, since it eliminates all the problems encountered in traditional pots.

The root system structure of plants grown in Roothus® containers is at least twice as developed as a traditional root, it is very fibrous and is radial in shape, reproducing natural growth as if it were developing in an open field.

A raised base prevents the cultivation substrate from coming into contact with the soil, thereby avoiding any contamination.

Transplant safely

Using Roothus® containers, seedlings can be placed directly in 25-45 litres, thereby skipping a number of transfers and saving a lot of time and work.

An exceptional, unique root system that will guarantee 100% healthy and vigorous vegetative growth, halving cultivation times compared to traditional pots and very successfully overcoming the problems related to the climate (extreme heat or cold) and transplant shocks.
